HOA DINH TAY COMMUNE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE ORGANIZES A CONFERENCE TO SUMMARY THE WORK OF SELECTING AND CALLING CITIZENS TO JOIN THE ARMY IN 2024

Attending the conference were the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, members of the Military Service Council of the commune and all members of the mobilization teams.

At the conference, the comrades listened to the report on experience in the selection and calling of citizens to join the army in 2024 and the direction of tasks in 2025. Carrying out the local military and defense tasks in 2024, under the leadership and direction of the District Party Committee, the District People's Committee, the District Military Service Council and the guidance of the professional agency of the Phu Hoa District Military Command, directly the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee of the commune, the Commune Military Service Council directed the Standing Committee of the Commune Military Service Council to closely coordinate with departments, branches and organizations to fully and promptly implement the steps in the military recruitment work from the investigation and registration of citizens aged 17; the organization of registration, and strict management of the number of citizens aged 18-25 with qualifications from grade 8 to intermediate and 26-27 years old for male citizens with college and university degrees in the commune. In addition, the situation of security and order - social order is always maintained and stable, the life of people in the commune is improved day by day, the awareness of the role and responsibility in complying with the law in general and the law on military service in particular for the majority of the people is significantly improved. The total number of young people aged 17 is: 72 young people, accounting for 0.89% of the population; the number of young people directly registered is 72/72/reaching 100%. In 2024, 26/26 young people will join the army, reaching 100% of the plan and mobilizing gifts for each young person in the amount of 1,380,000 VND (of which 1,200,000 VND in cash, 180,000 VND in gifts).

At the summary meeting of the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024, 2 groups and 6 individuals who had successfully completed the work of selecting and calling young people to join the army in 2024 were also rewarded.
